Barbara Bunker

Dr. Barbara Benedict Bunker is a social and organizational psychologist who has worked for the past twenty-six years as a professor in the Department of Psychology at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. With her interest in organization/social psychology, Dr. Bunker developed some of the earliest organization development (OD) projects in school systems with Matthew Mile and Ron Lippitt at Columbia University. Dr. Bunker’s most recent contributions to Organization Development are in mapping Large Group Interventions, which are ways for the whole organization to come together and participate in decisions.
